Taking Up Space or T.U.S. is a Grassroots Community Global Art Exhibition for Artists of Genders Underrepresented in the Art World.

Who is going to see us if we don’t take up the space we deserve?

We believe the work we create as women artists is important and deserves to be seen by our communities. We also believe we don't need to wait for permission, approval, invitations or gatekeepers to let our art be seen by the world. Taking Up Space or T.U.S. is a Grassroots Female Focused Community Global Art Exhibition. We ask the artists in our communities to take up space and exhibit their work each Spring. The project launched in 2022 and over 80 exhibitions were shown all over the world!

Not sure how to put on your own art show? We have resources, sample press information, logos to use, tips on promotion and documentation and so much more! This all inclusive exhibition for our network members is an opportunity for us to exhibit work professionally, work with other artists to create a beautifully curated show, and invite our communities to view important contemporary art made by living working women artists.

To join the T.U.S. movement and put on your own art show this year all you need to do it join the Thrive Together Network. As a member you have access to our Taking Up Space registration and our course that will help guide you through putting on your own art show.
